About the Doctor
As a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, Dr. Craig S. Wada, D.D.S., is a dentist with years of additional education and training. This gives him the necessary skills to provide his patients with the finest dental services available today. Dental implants, crowns, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, and T.M.J. therapy are all services he provides on a daily basis.
Dr. Wada is a master dentist with almost twice the training of a regular general dentist. Most of Dr. Wada’s patients choose to see an expert dentist, a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, because they have either needed more and more dentistry year after year, and want to be permanently stabilized, or they find going to the dentist very stressful and want to see a master dentist that will gently and expertly provide the care they need to restore the healthy, beautiful smile every patient deserves. Master class dentists are available to everyone. Why settle for anything less?

Dr. Wada received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of California, San Francisco, in 1988. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Wada went on to become an expert in restorative dentistry and continued his education, successfully completing the two year, full-time Prosthodontic program and residency, also at U.C.S.F. Continuing his studies, Dr. Wada became a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, earning his degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A.). After associating for two years, he opened his private practice in 1992. Dr. Wada has been active in the Sacramento dental community since 1991, donating time and finances to improve the quality of care for patients in Northern California. In 1992, he founded the Sacramento Academy for Advanced Dental Studies and the Wellness for Life patient advocacy program.
Dr. Wada lives in Rocklin with his wife and children.

An Office Designed for Patients
Dr. Wada's office is the first healthcare office that has been specifically designed to provide a therapeutic environment. With soft lighting, rare woods and stone, hand-woven Tibetan rugs, Aromatherapy and Audiotherapy, the entire office is designed to provide a calming, warm atmosphere to ensure a positive experience for his patients. Each staff member is carefully selected and trained. They are chosen for their skill and compassion, ensuring a positive experience for his patients. A massage therapist is available for relaxation prior to and after appointments. For staff and patients with children, there is a nursery and playroom with a full-time nanny. Story times, arts and crafts, music, and play stations are all available. Located in Rocklin, California, the office is open to the public, and easily accessible from all outlying areas.
Your first appointment: consultation and examination
The first appointment in Dr. Wada's office is for a new patient consultation or, if you prefer, consultation and examination. This is your time to meet the doctor, ask questions and discuss your concerns. Dr. Wada believes in spending quality, private time to discuss options and answer questions with every patient. After the consultation, Dr. Wada examines every patient thoroughly. At that time, he assesses the health of the patient's teeth, gums, and jaw joints. Impressions will be taken, and mounted diagnostic casts will be made. Knowing that planning and organization is critical to achieve predictable, long lasting results, Dr. Wada spends time reviewing the information and develops a written, sequenced treatment plan.
Your second appointment: treatment presentation
This is the time Dr. Wada sits down with each patient and carefully reviews all of the examination findings and presents the treatment options available. The purpose of this appointment is to make final decisions, organize appointments, and make arrangements for care. For most patients there are multiple choices for restoring teeth. Dr. Wada discusses each available option prior to presenting a finalized treatment plan.
Bringing a friend or loved one
We encourage people to bring their spouse or a close family member along for support to the consultation appointments. There is a lot of information to absorb, and it can be very helpful to bring along someone who may be involved in the decision-making process.
Respecting your privacy and soothing fears
Dr. Wada provides treatment for one patient at a time, ensuring quality of care and privacy. All discussions regarding your dentistry, health, or fees are performed in a quiet room, away from other patients.

Assisting you with fees and services
The doctor's education, quality of materials, services, and the amount of time the doctor spends with each patient, all contribute to a successful result. The goal is to provide treatment that will last a lifetime. In a comprehensive, expert dental office, the overall cost can be lower than it would eventually be if the patient continues to need dentistry, or to lose teeth. We work very hard to assist patients with the expense involved with treatment. For all cases, flexible payments are available, and we do not charge interest. All fees will be discussed, and you will be given a written estimate prior to incurring any charges. Our goal is to prepare you for all services so that you can make confident, positive decisions. Insurance is welcome, and we will assist with all billing. Medical insurance can also be billed because of Dr. Wada's high level of education.
