Expect the Best!

As an expert dentist, Dr. Wada is committed to providing every patient with the very finest dentistry available. What can you expect when Dr. Wada performs your dentistry? First and foremost, you’ll receive genuine uninterrupted time and attention to your needs. His primary responsibility is ensuring your voice is heard and all questions are answered before treatment ever begins. “Meticulous attention to detail,” “artist with a gentle touch” and “painless procedures” are common patient testimonials regarding Dr. Wada’s treatment skills. Your function, comfort and aesthetics are his priorities, and he proves it with more than just words – he demonstrates it with his behavior. The goal of Team Wada is making smiles last a lifetime. Wouldn't it be nice to see your dentist for routine dental cleanings and maintenance instead of surprises and endless treatment?

Your First Appointment: New Patient Q&A

The first appointment in Dr. Wada's office is for a new patient consultation. This is your time to meet the doctor, ask questions and discuss your concerns. Dr. Wada believes in spending quality time to introduce himself, review your history and answer any and all questions you might have regarding your specific problem.

Your Second Appointment: Examination

A comprehensive examination follows the consultation. Without question, this is the most important appointment for any new patient and behaviorally demonstrates the character of the office. Dr. Wada examines every new patient thoroughly and systematically identifies any problems associated with TMJs, head and neck muscles, occlusion (bite), dental aesthetics, periodontium (supporting bone and gums), and teeth and restorations (fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, partial dentures, etc.). This examination process typically takes over an hour and includes current, diagnostic X-rays and making articulated casts of the patient’s teeth to study. Predictable, long-lasting treatment is dependent on the thoroughness of the exam, accuracy of the diagnosis and recommendations aimed at treating not just effects but, more importantly, the cause of each problem.
A wise man once said: “The eye cannot see what the mind has not taught it to recognize. ...” Throughout his career as a specialty dentist, Dr. Wada has donated his time to lecture to other dentists on the importance of the examination process. When dentists learn and implement the proper examination protocol in their practices, patients benefit, and that’s a win-win relationship.

Your Third Appointment: Treatment Consultation

At this appointment, Dr. Wada meets with each patient and carefully reviews their examination findings. Problems are identified using the patient’s articulated casts, X-rays and photographs. Both the cause and effect of each problem are discussed and the patient is informed of the possible treatment options for solving their respective problems. The purpose of this appointment is to inform the patient of the diagnosis, answer questions and arrive at an agreed-upon treatment that makes sense to the patient. At this time, a member of Dr. Wada’s team will assist the patient in organizing appointments and making financial arrangements for care. For most patients, there are many treatment options for restoring their smiles as well as both short- and long-term payment options.

Bringing a Friend or Loved One

We encourage people to bring their spouse, friend or family member along for support to the consultation appointment. There’s often a lot of information to process, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed. It can be helpful to bring along a second set of eyes and ears to help with the decision-making process.

Respecting Your Privacy & Soothing Fears

Dr. Wada devotes his time and attention to one patient at a time. This ensures quality of care and privacy. All discussions regarding your dentistry, health, treatment and fees are performed in a quiet room, away from other patients.

Smile, Smile, Smile!

Specialty dental care is available to all patients. If you are in need of any kind of restorative dental treatment, consider going to a prosthodontist. Long-lasting, quality dental care is definitely something to smile about!

Assisting You With Fees & Services

Dr. Wada’s education and use of quality dental materials, combined with the comprehensive services and amount of time both he and his staff spend on each patient, all contribute to the success of treatment. The goal is to provide treatment that will last a lifetime. In a specialty dental practice, treatment costs are typically higher. However, these cost differences are often negligible when compared to the lost time, wasted energy and financial loss associated with unsuccessful treatment performed in a nonspecialty practice. Doing things once and doing them right is always less expensive in the long run.
We work very hard to assist patients with the expense involved with treatment. For all cases, flexible payments are available, and interest is never charged. All fees are discussed, and you will be given a written estimate prior to incurring any charges. Our goal is to prepare you for all recommended services. That way, you can make confident, positive decisions. Insurance is welcome, and we will assist you with all billing. Medical insurance can also be billed in certain cases because of Dr. Wada's high level of education.
